Satechi Launches GoRemote for iOS Devices on KickStarter

I’ve always been leery about KickStarter projects but when a big name company like Satechi is doing I think it’s a safe bet as it’s not some little unknown company asking you for money. Anyway, Satechi has just announced the GoRemote for iOS and it’s on KickStarter and like most you’ve got many choices or backer levels. The GoRemote is a small Bluetooth remote control for iOS devices that you could wear right on your wrist with the optional wrist band. Personally I wouldn’t wear a remote on my wrist but I think it could come in handy. Details below for you..

Satechi’s GoRemote, Bluetooth 4.0 waterproof remote control, is the ideal accessory for iOS users on the go. The convenient and compact device, available now for pre-order on Kickstarter, allows users to control audio and video content, adjust volume, control the camera shutter and activate Siri from up to 33 feet away with the touch of a button.

The IPX67 rated GoRemote can be placed on a wristband or mounting bracket for added convenience. The wristband and bracket gives users the freedom to control any iOS device while exercising, playing sports, bike riding, snowboarding, or at the beach and pool. Additionally, it can also conveniently be attached to a steering wheel to easily control any iOS device while allowing users to keep their eyes on the road.

Satechi is offering Kickstarter pledgers several early bird specials and bundle package options. Options include:

  • $35 for a GoRemote
  • $45 for a GoRemote and wristband or GoRemote and car/bike mount
  • $50 for a GoRemote and both a wristband and car mount

Additional pledge levels and packages can be found on Kickstarter.com.
